I arrived at Glen Brittle at around 10am and the car park was already getting quite full. There was a huge line of people like ants making their way up the path. I was a little concerned about getting people free shots, but it wasn’t a problem, the better waterfalls with most impressive backdrops are a little further up the valley. Even in late September the midge were still present in more than sufficient number to make it unpleasant standing still for any length of time.
