Sunrise from Todd Crag
After almost a week of dull flat grey skies the weather forecast predicted change. As I arrived at my parking spot near the River Brathay the sky was already starting to catch fire. I picked up my pace, but took a wrong turn half way up Todd Crag. It was too late to re-trace my steps. For the last few hundred feet I was battling through bracken and brambles while the sky was literally on fire. Eventually I broke free at the summit in a pool of sweat desperately setting up my tripod just in the nick of time.
