I first started taking Panoramic photographs back in 2004 when I was still using 35mm film.
I bought a Panosaurus (panoramic tripod head) and would scan multiple 35mm frames and stitch them together on my pc using PTAssembler.
Final images were often hundreds of megabytes in size and it pushed my pc to the limit.
Since moving to digital the principles haven't changed at all with most panoramas created from 3 to 9 individual frames.
